As a sponsor of the Sonora MTB team, you will be supporting youth development and each student athlete's ability to develop a strong body, strong mind, and strong character through mountain biking. You will help Sonora MTB coaches promote mountain biking in Tuolumne County as a healthy and fun team sport they can enjoy far beyond their high school years, regardless of their ability.
Sonora MTB Team operates under the non profit umbrella of the Tuolumne Youth Sports
Foundation (YSF), a 501.3c non profit corporation. All donations are accepted through YSF.
Donation receipts will be issued for all donations received.

Local businesses now have a distinctive opportunity to engage with one of the country's fastest-growing youth sports! Students from nearby high schools actively participate in mountain bike competitions across the NorCal region, drawing in crowds of hundreds, including parents, teachers, and local spectators. Sponsorships constitute the team's exclusive revenue stream, as all staff members are volunteers, ensuring that all proceeds directly support the team and its activities. Sponsorships span a one-year term aligning with our team membership year extending through regional competitions held the subsequent spring.
Team Budget Needs
Last season we were able to purchase a 20’ shipping container and locate it at our training grounds at Indigeny Reserve. This year we plan to paint the container, add a logo and fit out the interior with work benches and tools for working on bikes. This will also provide storage space for our pop up tents, banners, loaner bikes etc. Having a storage facility at our training area will reduce practice setup times and increase the services we can offer our athletes. As funds allow, our next target it to purchase a small box trailer for hauling our team equipment to races. Our fundraising goal for the 2023 season is $5,000, any donation towards this goal is greatly appreciated.

Sonora MTB operates under the 501.3.c umbrella of the Tuolumne County Youth Sports Foundation. Any donations are tax deductible. We accept monetary donations along with hard good donations of suitable equipment.
